 'A Must'
We have just returned from a two night stay at Number Thirty Two to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Wow...from the moment you walk through the main door you know you are somewhere very special. The contemporary and traditional mix is superb and just right.
The lounge is stunning, looking through the huge floor to ceiling windows over to the Imperial Gardens is lovely. The decor is quite something. The hospitality here extends to an honesty bar which is available each evening, candles are lit here, with comfy chairs, books and magazines, you could easily just spend the evening here oohing and aahing at the surroundings!
The Jonathans certainly make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive until you are ready to leave. Our room was also stunning and immaculate so too was the bathroom. Fresh water, a cafetiere and an assortment of teas are a nice touch, so are the Penhaligon toilletries. The bed was soooo comfortable and the room very quiet. The location could not be better, you can walk to all of the main shopping areas and to all of the good restaurants. (We can recommend The Daffodil and Brasserie Blanc).
We left feeling very relaxed. Oh, I didnt mention the breakfast ....... wow again!!!

Our Pick -Thirty Two (01242-771110; www.thirtytwoltd.com; 32 Imperial Square; s/d from £139/154; wi- fi) In a league of its own, this slick, boutique B&B is a rare find. It may charge hotel prices, but it’s well worth it. You get the personal service of a B&B but the luxury, style and comfort of a top-notch hotel. Expect views over the Imperial gardens, muted colours, contemporary artwork, luxurious fabrics and rooms that could easily feature in a glossy style magazine.

This B&B (and I use the term very hesitantly – we’ve never seen a B&B like this before) is stunning – outside a classic, elegant Regency townhouse, inside an aladdin’s cave of gorgeous colour schemes, decadent wallpapers and designer furniture. Read more

'Our bedroom, one of just four, is everything we could wish for: a generous size, and kitted out with huge bed, sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV, table and chair, wardrobe, butler stand (yes, really), and a fulsome hospitality tray (with not only an appealing array of teas, but also a jar of coffee grounds and a cafetiere, and two bottles of fresh water) atop a rather lovely Oriental-style chest of drawers.'
